Much like with the subtle changes to the previous shirt design, the 2006/07 Heimtrikot would essentially be a slight tweaking of the previous season’s “stripeless” retro look. On what would be the same red shirt, the famous three Adidas shoulder stripes would make a return, along with the standard FC Bayern club crest.
As with the 2005/06 Trikot this tweaked version would be mainly red with white trim including collar and piping, and would feature the same button-up neck. The Adidas logo is machine-stitched in white/silver thread, and the club crest – also machine-stitched straight onto the shirt, is accompanied by the three championship stars in gold.
The “T-Com” sponsor logo is screen-printed on the front of the shirt, with the familiar “Bayern München” applied using the same method on the upper back. An additional feature is the stylised “Teimgeist” logo on the left sleeve, which has been machine-stitched in white/silver and gold thread.
Having been left out of the previous design the “Climacool” logo returns on the bottom of the front of the shirt, accompanied by the Adidas “Teamgeist” security hologram on the opposite side.
